Alejandro Rodriguez did everything right. Gifted and talented program. College classes in high school. A 4.5 GPA. The four-year university track wasn't just an option — it was an expectation.

Meanwhile, nobody's automating a Porsche transmission rebuild.
"People are starting to come out of work, and they've got to do something," Rodriguez says. "And our jobs kind of can't be taken."
The roadmap was ruthless and specific.
