A Tennessee newspaper is hiring a full-time Taylor Swift reporter—here’s what the job entails

The Tennessean, a media company, is currently seeking a journalist to cover Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. The job requires the journalist to capture the cultural and musical impact of Taylor Swift and report on her influence on both the music and business worlds. The ideal applicant should have a degree in communications, journalism, or marketing, along with at least five years of experience in a digital-first newsroom.

They should also possess strong writing skills, a deep understanding of metrics and audience behavior, and be willing to travel internationally. The job application requires a resume, links to previous work, and a video cover letter. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to chronicle the significant moments of the tour for various news outlets. The Eras Tour has already become the highest-grossing tour of all time, surpassing $1 billion in sales.

As a result of its popularity, Taylor Swift has secured a deal with AMC Theaters to release a concert film, which analysts predict could make $100 million during its opening weekend.
