According to a recent Axios/Generation Lab survey of college students across the United States, Google is the top choice for young Americans of all backgrounds who dream of working for a company.
Google came out at the top for both Republicans and Democrats, as well as men and women of all races. However, the survey also revealed that the company that students felt was "doing good in the world" was Patagonia, with Google and Tesla coming in second and third place, respectively.
The poll is part of Generation Lab's new product, the Young Talent IQ terminal, which provides businesses with data on what the next generation of workers is looking for in an employer. The survey sample included 2,067 college students and recent graduates from across the country, with a margin of error of +/- 3.4 percentage points.
