Uchenna Chukwuka, a 29-year-old data analyst and part-time stylist in Atlanta, has been shopping on Shein since high school — and she's cracked the code on finding quality at low prices.
Her method is meticulous: check fabric composition, inspect construction, look for double lining, and trust reviews with photos. After years of trial and error, she's learned which suppliers deliver.
Her proof? A $20 trench coat bought in college that she still wears today.
"Once you find the good ones, they're definitely there," she says.

The payoff goes beyond her closet. Chukwuka estimates Shein has saved her thousands — money redirected toward bigger dreams: buying her first home and traveling to bucket-list spots like Bali.
"We don't want to wait until we're in our 40s, 50s, 60s — after climbing the corporate ladder — to look good, travel, or own a home," she says.

A 2025 Tinuiti study found Shein narrowly beat Amazon as Gen Z's top destination for online apparel purchases. Among millennials, 12% named Shein their go-to checkout site.
